I'm a follower of Christ, wife, wedding photographer, daughter, sister, aunt, cat mom and I have a slight obsession with Joanna Gaines.

Together, my husband, business partner + favorite hand to hold, Trevor, and I make Kayce Stork Photography + Films.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal and sharing the knowledge that I've learned over the years in the wedding industry with not only my couples, but anyone who want an extra hand to hold during this amazing, yet busy season of life!

In my career, I've photographed everything from newborns to a past United States President, but my passion and focus has been for the wedding industry for over the past 5 years. I truly love this calling and feel blessed each day!

Grab a sweet tea, or your drink of choice, and take a look around!

Reception Design Inspirations! We love sharing blog posts like this one!

In this blog post, you will see various venues here in South Mississippi! We so enjoy sharing inspiration posts for our future brides to see!

Bride “A” might see round tables and fall head over heels, while Bride “B” sees the square tables and knows that’s exactly the look she wants.

Square or Rectangle Tables These shapes are best for events that are taking place in unconventional areas such as under a tent or on a lawn and are a great way to create borders in your reception area. This doesn’t mean that you need to line them up perfectly either. Square or rectangle tables can be placed at different angles to create a unique look and feel. If you will be using this table shape, be sure to use an even number of chairs and quality linens to soften any edges.

While Katie and John used round tables at their wedding for guests, the reserved tables for the family were square!
This beautiful venue is the Slavonian Lodge right here in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Here you’ll see a round sweetheart table in the center with the two square tables on the sides. A unique twist!
This rustic venue is hidden in the small town of Lucedale, Mississippi and is called Acorn Lane Farm!
More square table designs to see! Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, MS
This reception venue is the Great Southern Club in Gulfport, MS

Round Tables

Round tables are used most often for events because they work in just about any space. If you do want to make things more interesting though, try using a few tables of different sizes. Beautiful chairs, cutlery, linens, and flowers can really bring these classic tables to life.

We love how this beautiful reception for Mariah and Nick came together at the Sacred Heart Center in Biloxi, MS!
Don’t forget about your food tables! This is from Whitney and Christopher’s wedding at the Biloxi Visitors Center!
One more view from the Visitors Center from Michael and Kayla’s wedding!
This shot is from Carolyn and Dustin’s wedding at the Camellia Barn in Perkinston, MS!
A soft, beach feel for this wedding at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach, Alabama!
This lovely pink and gold mix was a personal favorite! The venue is the Grass Lawn in Gulfport, MS!
This hidden gem of a venue is in Mobile, Alabama! The Hermitage-Rippy Estate!
