I'm a follower of Christ, wife, mother, published wedding photographer, sweet tea enthusiast and I adore all things weddings.

Together, my husband, business partner + favorite hand to hold, Trevor, and I make Kayce Stork Photography + Films.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal and sharing the knowledge that I've learned over the years in the wedding industry with not only my couples, but anyone who want an extra hand to hold during this amazing, yet busy season of life!

In my career, I've photographed everything from precious newborns to a past United States President, but my passion and focus has been for the wedding industry for over the past 10 years. I truly love this calling and feel blessed each day!

Grab a sweet tea, or your drink of choice, and take a look around.

Toast to Thursday | Biloxi Mississippi Wedding Photographers

Wedding

November 30, 2017

back to blog

Here’s a toast to Thursday!

I can share my thoughts of having the perfect toast for the Bride and Groom, but instead of just sharing my opinion I wanted to hear from another wedding vendor who knows a thing or two about a great toasts!

Marcel from Nightshift Sounds Entertainment, a premier DJ here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast shared 3 tips for a great toast to the newlyweds!

Maid of Honor

1. Share how you and the bride became friends. No matter how small, share how your friendship began!

For the Best Man or Maid of Honor

2. A short funny anecdote! Keep it classy, but share a great memory you share with the bride, groom or them as a couple!

3.How the groom makes the bride a better person, loves her, takes care of her, etc.

Brag on the groom just a little!! 😉

And the MOST IMPORTANT tip for both the Best Man and MOH

The best speeches come from the heart. No notes and no rehearsing!

Tip from your Photographer – I know you can’t stand too close to the speakers, but do try and stand close to the couple! For your photos, it’s much easier for great photos just like the one above to have everyone in one designated spot.

When in doubt, ask your DJ and Photographer the best spot to stand! We’re here to help each step of the way!
