How could I not love the beautiful White House Hotel? Of course it makes it on my list of favorites each time!
When a client asks me where I would recommend looking into for their getting ready shots, I normally will always recommend a suite at the White House! My favorites are the gulf view suites and the honeymoon suite!
My thoughts:
The hotel is a great size. Parking is always easy, even on the weekends. Another great thing is getting from one end of the hotel to the other won’t be too much of an obstacle for you and your wedding party. I know it’s not something that you would think of, but these are things that you’ll be so grateful for on your wedding day. The landscaping is always lovely for photos and the hotel is very well kept! Should it be raining, there are even indoor options and the staff is so accommodating for their guests!
As a wedding venue, the White House Hotel has so many amazing views from the rooftop terrace and the majestic oak trees on the front lawn. The sunset from the terrace is breathtaking!
I recently caught up with Stephanie, Director of Sales for the White House Hotel, to ask a few questions about how she can help today’s bride have the wedding of her dreams!
“Today’s bride wants to work with someone who cares. A hotel can offer a beautiful wedding venue on the beach but if the salesperson/ coordinator is short with them it can create a bad impression. My goal is to be genuine and connect on a personal level. I ask them about their proposal story and show my enthusiasm for their dream wedding. I ask for the vision of the wedding and spend quality time getting to know the bride and family instead of treating them like a sale. I get told almost once a week from my clients that they chose my venue because of me. My goal is to create excitement within the pre-planning process which can feel overwhelming at a time with many decisions to be made. I help create ease and remind the bride how much fun it can be to plan their big day. It’s a beautiful experience to witness the love during a wedding and I tear up at every first look or first dance. I personally feel honored to play a role in such a memorable occasion in their life!”
How is the White House different from other venues? Stephanie has said, “My motto for sales is “They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!” This is what sets us apart from other venues. I spend quality time starting with the first call talking about the options we offer and guests are surprised when they hear that I can help work within their budget. My favorite moments are the end of the first tour when the mother of the bride starts crying because she realizes she can give her daughter her dream wedding!”
I loved hearing from Stephanie and I hope if you were on the fence about scheduling an appointment to chat with the White House about your own special day, that this will be exactly what you needed to read! Be sure to let Stephanie know that we sent you!
