I’m a follower of Christ, wife to Trevor, mama, published wedding photographer, and sweet tea enthusiast who adores capturing love stories. I love photographing throughout Biloxi, MS and New Orleans, LA for weddings.

Together, Trevor, my husband, business partner, and favorite hand to hold, and I make up Kayce Stork Photography + Films. It is our joy to serve couples during one of the most meaningful seasons of life, offering not only beautiful memories but peace of mind along the way.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal, sharing tips, insights, and encouragement from over a decade in the wedding industry. Whether you are one of our couples or simply looking for an extra hand to hold through the planning process, I hope you find something helpful and heartfelt here.

Throughout my career, I have photographed everything from precious newborns to a United States President, but weddings have been my passion and focus for over 10 years. I truly love this calling and feel so grateful to do what I do each day.

My Trip to Magnolia Market | Kayce Stork Photography

back to blog

So I have said more than once that I fangirl over anything Joanna Gaines… did y’all think I was kidding?

I celebrated my 32nd birthday in late November and had a trip to Houston scheduled for work the weekend after Thanksgiving. I try to treat myself to something for my birthday every year, so I asked my friend, Christina, who was going with me to Houston if we could hit Waco and spend the day. She obliged! Yay!! One thing I MUST mention (and appreciated so much) was the fact that both the Silos and Magnolia Table offered gluten-friendly options that my friend needs to follow.

We started our day at Magnolia Table. I’ll be completely honest, I was a little nervous that the food was just going to be “eh” in taste and more about the syle, etc. I am so happy to say that the food was so GREAT! I had the biscuits and gravy and Christina has french toast. We were both very happy with our choices, too. The sweet tea was pretty great, also! (We decided to wait for coffee until we arrived at Magnolia Press.)

From Magnolia Table, we visited the Findery, a great little store right down from Magnolia Market and Magnolia Press. I loved the unique decor pieces! We also visited The Spice Village which had SO many neat boutiques.

We also visited Harp Design Co. I love watching Clint on Fixer Upper re-runs so I made sure we had the chance to run by his shop this trip.

I’ve been teased more than once that I would go to Waco just for a sugar cookie from the Silos Baking Co. and to be perfectly honest, they’re not completely wrong, lol! The bakery is so yummy. My hips are in so much trouble if they ever begin shipping their baked goods! The prize pig is also a personal favorite if you’d prefer a pastry.

We shopped, ate way too much, had some laughs and enjoyed a fun, beautiful day.

I know I don’t share quite a lot of personal blog posts, but I do hope to change that in the new year… I’m just getting a head start!

If you’re planning your own trip to Waco and have any questions, feel free to message me!
