From the moment I met Alexis and her Mom, Jeannie, I knew that I would enjoy working with them and watching their vision come to life. I wasn’t wrong!!!
So Roman and Alexis have the sweetest story, but I know I couldn’t do it justice, so the beautiful bride shared their story in her own words! Click here to read their story and see their Engagement Session!
On the morning of the wedding, South Mississippi really showed out and we had so much rain! The streets were flooding, we had rain in the forecast for most of the day and at one point we were watching hail fall from outside the White House Hotel. Now y’all know I’m not a Miss. State fan, but I had to look at Alexis, who was having her makeup done, and say, “Well…hail state!” I’m happy to say her corny photographer made her laugh! 😉 Alexis and Roman both attended Mississippi State and you’ll see lots of touches throughout the wedding that pay tribute to their roots in Starkville!
Now… again for the Coast weather… We had finished the first look and a lot of the photos needed at the White House when we were loading up and heading to Nativity for the ceremony. Shortly before the ceremony began, the skies began to clear and the sun began to play peekaboo!
After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with their family and friends at The White Pillars for dinner, drinks and dancing!
