The moment that Darby’s bridesmaids seen her as a bride, one of them exclaimed, “Darby, you look timeless!!” I’m pretty sure that’s the word I kept using during her Bridal Portrait Session, too! I mean, y’all… look how beautiful she is!
When Darby and I were discussing locations for her session we tossed around many venues in the Biloxi area, but in my mind, I just kept going back to The Old Place in Gautier. I shared my idea with Darby and I was thrilled when she agreed to make the drive and have the session there! *Insert Angels singing here* I can’t thank Courtney enough for having us!
The Old Place is a lovely wedding venue located in Gautier, right on the Singing River. The house dates back to 1867 and full of southern charm. I could sit on the porch for hours just admiring the oak trees and watching the boats pass by.
This gorgeous dress came from The Bridal Path in Jackson, Mississippi and Darby’s makeup artist was Amanda Malia who’s based on the Mississippi Coast. The updo hairstyle is by Jordan at Antonian Salon in Gulfport.
