On our second blog in this series, we’re talking about choosing the right location for your bridal sessions.
For the bride that I am showcasing today, she actually chose three beautiful locations for her session; two of which were private residences in beautiful Biloxi, MS, that the bride knew would be awesome locations for her photos. The owners were gracious in allowing us to use their perfect properties for the stunning bride.
The couple’s son was able to attend his Mom for her session, so that of course made for some great memories and sweet laughs. This also gave me the opportunity to get acquainted with him before the wedding day. We became buds from the get go. Of course on the wedding day, he was completely comfortable and giving me ideas where he wanted to take his photo. His particular photo also made it into the album and onto his Mom’s wall. He definitely has an eye for the arts, and in a couple of years when he is ready, he can be my assistant! 😉
All the different looks you can do are so much more relaxed than the day of the wedding. As you can see in the photos the first area which had the gorgeous fountain and columns was a great place to start. The lighting and scene were absolutely perfect.
Our second location, also a private residence in the D’Iberville, Mississippi area, made for beautiful shots with the bride and her handsome son for them to have.
Our third location was the beautiful White House Hotel on Biloxi Beach. The hotel was also our pre-ceremony location, so the Bridal Session fit into our album design beautifully. That’s another thing to think about is how will your wedding album flow together?
As you can see, we had some amazing shots from our day! This bride did have photos on display when you first entered the reception hall, which the groom loved getting to finally see and so did their sweet guests.
You can’t go wrong with a beautiful portrait of the Bride at the Wedding!
Wrapping up this second post, I encourage you to think of all the photos that are possible when opting for a Bridal Session.
I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer, but I told you going into this I would explain my reasons for encouraging Bridal Sessions. Are you convinced, yet? If not, check back for our third post coming to the blog very soon!
