I’m not sure you’ll ever meet a couple as laid back as Mickey and Jill! The pair met with me multiple times and were always so relaxed about the wedding as a whole. Having Jean from After the Proposal as your wedding planner will help ease your anxiety, too! Haha!
Jean really is the Fairy Godmother of Wedding Planning! But, all joking aside, these two have been incredible to work with. Each meeting we had you could see the excitement and pure joy they had in planning their special day.
We all loved working with this awesome pair and their sweet families!
Pre-ceremony photos were taken at The Beau Rivage Resort right here on Biloxi Beach. The casino was crowded, as always, but we stepped outside and the weather couldn’t have been any better, and we hardly had a soul near us while we photographed the pre-ceremony formals.
From the Beau, we went to the Yacht Club and waited for the guests to start arriving.
When I walked into the site I was immediately blown away by the beautiful lights hanging behind the draping. This was also the spot for the ceremony!
Jean from After the Proposal created this incredible bouquet for Jill to carry!
Have I mentioned how much I adore anything with sparkles!?
If you have never had a Cannoli from French Kiss Pastries then you MUST try one! Even if you’ve had one before, just go get one! You’ll thank me!
(Even if you’ve had one before, just go get one! You’ll thank me later!)
During our last meeting, Mickey told me to do whatever I needed to with photos, but that he wanted this wedding and reception to be a joyous celebration!
Besides marrying the woman he loved, that was his next priority! I definitely saw this happen, too! I don’t think there was a guest that didn’t join the couple on the dance floor at least once.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE weddings like this!
Marcel of Nightshift Sounds was the DJ for the evening, he provided music for both the wedding and reception. Nightshift Sounds crew always does a great job on song selection and keeping the party on track.
One of the guests requested the perfect song, too…. I mean, you can’t have a groom named Mickey and not play Toni Basil’s “Mickey” song! Am I right!?!?
After the sparkler exit, the limo driver was a sweetheart and allowed me to crawl in with the couple to catch a few photos in the limo.
This photo was one of my favorites from the day, and it was also one of the last photos from the night <3
I hope you enjoyed this post! We loved working with this family!
