“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.” Nicholas Sparks
Lacey and Billy were married on a beautiful Saturday in south Mississippi in the small town of Ocean Springs at the First Presbyterian Church. If you’ve never seen downtown Ocean Springs you really are missing out! It’s a lovely little town hidden here on the gulf coast.
As Lacey and I were talking about different wedding ideas she mentioned to me how much she liked the downtown area. Each time she and Billy have a chance to visit the coast it’s always a stop they make. Another stop they really enjoy is a town favorite called Tato-nut! The moment Lacey mentioned she would like a photo in front of the donut shop and even though we saw the rain clouds on the horizon, we risked a photo and I’m so glad we did!
The ceremony was just as gorgeous as could be surrounded by the pairs closest family and friends.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom had a saber arch on the front steps of the church. (My joy couldn’t be contained if we’re being honest, ha!)
The beautiful reception was held at the Bay Breeze event center in Biloxi, Mississippi. The catering was provided by Bay Breeze while Nightshift Sounds Entertainment kept the party going!
The beautiful florals were from Maidenhair Floral Design. I don’t recall working with Jessie until now, but she was so kind and her designs were gorgeous!
