I'm a follower of Christ, wife, mother, published wedding photographer, sweet tea enthusiast and I adore all things weddings.

Together, my husband, business partner + favorite hand to hold, Trevor, and I make Kayce Stork Photography + Films.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal and sharing the knowledge that I've learned over the years in the wedding industry with not only my couples, but anyone who want an extra hand to hold during this amazing, yet busy season of life!

In my career, I've photographed everything from precious newborns to a past United States President, but my passion and focus has been for the wedding industry for over the past 10 years. I truly love this calling and feel blessed each day!

Grab a sweet tea, or your drink of choice, and take a look around.

Southern Wedding at Hermitage Rippy Estate in Mobile AL

Wedding

June 25, 2018

back to blog

This southern wedding in the Mobile, AL at the Hermitage Rippy Estate, was wrapped with love and beauty.

Brianna and Jacob have been two of the most amazing people to work with!

From our first meeting, last year, I knew Brianna was one of the sweetest brides I would ever have the opportunity to work with. When I met Jacob a few months later for their engagement session in downtown Biloxi, I felt the same way about him! I loved the way he and Brianna talked to one another and the fact that even when I wasn’t snapping photos, Jacob was so quick to reach out and hold Brianna’s hand while we were walking to the next location and offer to go grab anything she might have needed in the vehicle. A true gentleman!

For the couples big day they chose to have their wedding and reception at the Hermitage Rippy Estate in Mobile, Alabama. Jean, of After the Proposal Weddings and Events, made everything look so perfect. Brianna chose the most beautiful shades of purple and pink and you all should know by now that I’m a total sucker for soft pastels! Mallory Fitzgerald, aka, Mallory the makeup artist, did such a phenomenal job on all of the makeup! Erin Glisson was in charge of hair. These ladies are so great to work with!

The ceremony was held in the front of the estate in the warm sunshine under a lovely arch where the couple said “I do” and promised forever. (This is my personal favorite part of the day!)

The reception was indoor/outdoor. The cake was from ellenJAY Events in Mobile and catering from Tyner’s Catering, also in the Mobile area. Marcel of Nightshift Sounds Entertainment helped the guest dance the night away!

Check out the portraits below!

We can’t thank Brianna and Jaco enough for having us be a part of their wedding day!! Be sure to leave a comment below for the happy couple!
