If there’s one thing that New Orleans does best, its celebrations, and a wedding during Mardi Gras season is the perfect opportunity to bring together love, joy, and festivities.
In early February, we had the honor of photographing a beautiful wedding for Paige and Ethan at Southern Oaks Venue, and we couldn’t be more excited to share their magical day
Paige was absolutely stunning in a classic white gown. The dress was adorned with delicate beading that sparkled beautifully in the light. (Scroll down to see more of that!!!) Ethan was dressed in a sleek black tuxedo, which contrasted perfectly with this dress. Classic touches like these make my photographer’s heart dance!
This love was evident throughout the ceremony, which took place on the stunning front porch of Southern Oaks Venue. It was beautifully decorated with elegant floral arrangements and modern gold touches.
As Paige walked down the aisle, after being driven in a classic Rolls Royce, the guests couldn’t help but beam for these two!
The family of the bride and groom was incredibly sweet and loving. Paige’s parents were smiling throughout the ceremony, and it was clear that they were extremely proud of their daughter. Ethan’s parents were also overjoyed for all to see. There was an overall sense of warmth and closeness between the families, which made the day all the more special.
As the ceremony came to an end, the happy couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife and as they exited, FIREWORKS. Yes, literal fireworks!
Overall, it was a magical day filled with love, laughter, and joy. Oh…and king cake!!
We can’t thank Ethan and Paige enough for having us. It was our honor!
