“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope to give you forever.”
Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
Our beautiful Kimberly is now married to the man of her dreams! So you can guess what else that means?!?
Yep, I can now SHARE HER BRIDAL SESSION!!!
We anxiously watched the forecast and it didn’t show in our favor for most of the day but the evening chance of showers wasn’t quite as high. Kimberly and I decided that it was worth a shot to try regardless – we were right! No rain, we just had to avoid a little mud, no worries there!
We started in Ocean Springs, Mississippi for the first half of the bridal session and ended at the White House Hotel in Biloxi – which is the location where this precious girl married her sweetheart!
I caught up with Ashley Mills, who was the hairstylist and makeup artist for the shoot and I asked her two specific questions that any bride can take for her own session.
Q: How can a Bride be most prepared for her consultation? What can get the two of you on the same page even more?
A: Bringing photos of the look/style you’re wanting is such a help! The more specific, the better, even if that means bringing multiple photos!
Together we can look at each photo, choose what you like about each one, and from there we can decide what is best for you!
Q: Should they bring their veil and/or headpiece/clip with them to their consultation?
A: Yes! Bringing your veil or headpiece/clip is extremely helpful! We can really get an overall picture of how the style will look the day of and we can address any questions you have, or make changes if needed.
I hope those little tips will help all of you beautiful girls planning your big day!
