I’m a follower of Christ, wife to Trevor, mama, published wedding photographer, and sweet tea enthusiast who adores capturing love stories. I love photographing throughout Biloxi, MS and New Orleans, LA for weddings.

Together, Trevor, my husband, business partner, and favorite hand to hold, and I make up Kayce Stork Photography + Films. It is our joy to serve couples during one of the most meaningful seasons of life, offering not only beautiful memories but peace of mind along the way.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal, sharing tips, insights, and encouragement from over a decade in the wedding industry. Whether you are one of our couples or simply looking for an extra hand to hold through the planning process, I hope you find something helpful and heartfelt here.

Throughout my career, I have photographed everything from precious newborns to a United States President, but weddings have been my passion and focus for over 10 years. I truly love this calling and feel so grateful to do what I do each day.

Grab your drink of choice and make yourself at home. I am so happy you are here!

We love to see the wedding cake at any wedding, but I also love to see what cake the bride chose for her groom. Normally it’s a surprise! Not always, but normally šŸ˜‰

What ideas can we share with you on your groom’s cake journey? We have four tips actually!

Tip #1

Allow his favorite things to inspire you! Does he love baseball? Music? Cars?

Tip #2

Talk to your cake decorator! Allow him/her to make suggestions and show you different designs in their portfolio.

A family friend, Chellbie Denley, made this for Dustin and Carolyn’s wedding! How cute! Even has the name of Dustin’s boat!

Tip #3

Remember your budget! I know he will love anything you choose! A 5 tier masterpiece not required unless that’s what your price point allows!

Tip #4

It’s really the “extra” cake and it doesn’t necessarily have to feed everyone. Unless your wedding cake is smaller and you will need the groom’s cake to feed “X” amount of people, of course! Another great idea is to have a different flavor! Normally chocolate, red velvet, etc. I’ve even seen a carrot cake before!
