I decided a few weeks ago that I should be sharing more on my blog so I have been playing with the idea of sharing one small post each weekday with a specific topic. I’ll post the schedule below so you can be sure to come back each day to see a new post! I promise to NEVER make the post too long!

For our first Magnificent Moments Monday, I’ll be sharing this photograph of Lizzy and Jack at their March wedding reception! The reception was held at Bay-Waveland Yacht Club in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. We had arrived at the yacht club a few minutes before this shot was taken and even though the rain was coming down, Lizzy simply picked up her dress like a champ and said, “Let’s run!”  We made it onto the back porch and just before the announcement was made for their first dance was when I had the chance to grab this candid shot.

Lizzy’s classic wedding gown was a custom designed piece from MaeMe’s Bridal Boutique and the gorgeous cathedral veil was the perfect finishing touch to this shot.

Moments like this one are the reason why I love what I do – a little frozen snippet in time to allow you to relive your wedding day again and again.
