I walked into the Milner residence where Lizzy and her girls were getting ready. I was greeted with smiles and the sounds of Adele on Pandora. (I knew I was going to like them instantly!)
When Lizzy booked me for her wedding, over a year ago, we had plans to meet, but with her living out of town and all that goes with it, we hadn’t actually met until the wedding day! That’s rare for me, but we talked and chatted via email so I felt like we knew one another already!
Meanwhile my second shooter was down the street with Jack and the groomsmen. This is another reason why I love having a second shooter at all times! If I need to be with the girls, she can be with the guys. Everyone wins!
Janet was also present for the getting ready shots (Lizzy’s rescue fur baby) so I had to have her pose in front of the wedding dress! Isn’t she a pretty girl?!
(You guys know I’m a softy for animals, right!?)
The Bride’s Mom and Sister helped her slip into her gown while the bridesmaids waited downstairs for a first look. The maids didn’t disappoint either! You could see the love they have for their friend and it’s a beautiful thing!
Mrs. Becky, Lizzy’s Mother, handled all the floral arrangements and done such a beautiful job.
Hydrangea’s are one of my personal favorites! They go with everything and you can’t go wrong with choosing them for centerpiece decorations.
Ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Shortly after we arrived to begin preparing for the wedding the rain started. But, they say rain on a wedding day is good luck, right?
After mass, we headed to the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club to celebrate the couple at their reception!
Jack and Lizzy chose to have a live band for their entertainment and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect! The band sang their hearts out and had the crowd pumped all evening long!
The couple’s send off was a brand new experience for me! Of course I’ve photographed many sparkler send offs, but never a send off in a boat!
Waving goodbye to their family and friends from the boat while they sent them off with sparkles, well wishes and laughter!
I’m also in love with the photos, too! I see a canvas in my future! <3
Enjoy the sneak peek! Be sure to leave Lizzy and Jack (or me!) a comment! At 20 comments, or more, they receive a gift from KSP!
