I’m a follower of Christ, wife to Trevor, mama, published wedding photographer, and sweet tea enthusiast who adores capturing love stories. I love photographing throughout Biloxi, MS and New Orleans, LA for weddings.

Together, Trevor, my husband, business partner, and favorite hand to hold, and I make up Kayce Stork Photography + Films. It is our joy to serve couples during one of the most meaningful seasons of life, offering not only beautiful memories but peace of mind along the way.

I enjoy writing here on our online journal, sharing tips, insights, and encouragement from over a decade in the wedding industry. Whether you are one of our couples or simply looking for an extra hand to hold through the planning process, I hope you find something helpful and heartfelt here.

Throughout my career, I have photographed everything from precious newborns to a United States President, but weddings have been my passion and focus for over 10 years. I truly love this calling and feel so grateful to do what I do each day.

Grab your drink of choice and make yourself at home. I am so happy you are here!

Why do a Bridal Session – Part Three

Tips

January 28, 2017

back to blog

This is our last blog in the 3 part blog of, “Why you should choose a Bridal Session.”

So, what’s the last reason? Hair and makeup test run.

The Bridal Session is a great time to get an appointment with your hairdresser and makeup artist. You are going to want to have an idea of how your hair will look in your veil, how your lipgloss will photograph, etc.

I had one Bride in particular that during our session kept having her bangs fall in her face. She knew she wouldn’t want to deal with something like this on the wedding day so she mentioned it to her stylist and for the wedding day she pinned her hair to ensure it would stay. Had we not had the session before we wouldn’t have known this would happen.

While this may be our shortest post on the subject of bridal sessions, it’s just as important! Your wedding day is so special. Knowing hair and makeup is perfectly in place will ease your mind on the big day.

Below are a few shots from Lindsey’s bridal session at the Biloxi Visitor’s Center right on Biloxi Beach.
